Instructions
- Remove ribeye from the fridge and let it sit for 30 minutes to reach room temperature.
- Pat the steak dry, then generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat until smoking hot.
- Lightly coat the grill or skillet with olive oil before placing the steak down.
- Sear the ribeye undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes to create a nice crust.
- Flip the steak, add butter and fresh herbs into the pan, continuously basting while cooking for another 4-5 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved.
