Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions

- Cook elbow macaroni in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef; add chopped onion halfway through cooking until translucent.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine cooked pasta with meat mixture and half of the cheddar cheese; mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs if desired.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
