- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until smooth.
- Fold half of the peach slices into the batter and pour into the prepared pan. Top with remaining peach slices.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
