Instructions

  3. Drain and mash sweet potatoes in a mixing bowl; mix in butter until smooth.
  4. Stir in brown sugar, milk, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. In another bowl, combine chopped pecans, remaining brown sugar, and melted butter for the topping.
  6. Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish; sprinkle pecan topping evenly over it.
