  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp chili paste (Sriracha or sambal oelek)
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover and turn off the heat; let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Prepare an ice bath in a bowl with cold water and ice cubes.
  3. Transfer boiled eggs to the ice bath for 5-10 minutes to cool.
  4. Peel eggs under running water, then slice each in half lengthwise. Remove yolks into a bowl.
  5. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, chili paste, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites and garnish with sliced green onions or chili flakes.
