Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large sweet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs), peeled and sliced into 1/8-inch rounds
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, for greasing
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Place the sliced sweet potatoes in a bowl and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
